The Giving Cafe || Sheridan, Mandaluyong

And my feet has taken me to this place - The Giving Cafe.

I regret knowing this place a little late after I've seen this opened for such a long time. It is actually just a walk away from our office and we were out and about for a good food for lunch when we ended up here.

From the outside, it seemed like a small cafe that serves coffee, sandwiches and desserts. It also seemed like a small place, like  just having 5 tables good for 3. But when I entered, I was totally amazed.

The interior design has a vintage, rustic vibe with a modern attachment to it. There's a couch area where books, board games, and vintage stuffs were displayed. The set up is classy. 👌

The staff greeted us with a smile and we were comfortably seated in a rustic style, wooden table. We were handed with the menu and upon seeing it, I was a little bit confused as they have different types of cuisine in one category - Chinese, Filipino, Western, Spanish.

Cheesy Cocoa (left); Yogurt Tea (Right)

Cheesy Cocoa (Php 105)  A very interesting flavor! Who could've imagined cocoa and cheese may be combined? Well, it tasted soooo good! The cheese was mixed in whipped cream. I was surprised with this combination. You can taste the saltiness of the cheese but not overpowering, in fact, it is refreshing.

Yogurt Milk Tea (Php 105)  This one is just okay. The Yakult flavor is very evident. I wish they have lessened it so I can taste the tea. The yogurt must only be of a hint.

Cheese Sticks (Php 165)  This is BOMB. Mozzarella and Cheddar wrapped in spring roll wrappers. The cheese inside is generously placed. Perfectly paired with Lemon and Chives Mayo dipping sauce.

Salt and Pepper Chicken (Php 330)  Tender and flavorful chicken in a precise level. A Chinese style favorite and a nice variety aside from the usual Salt and Pepper Squid.

White Pasta (Php 180)  The pasta is Al Dente. Cheesy sauce just right. Not dry, not too saucey. I just wish there's more mushroom and bacon 😍

Our lunch here was enjoyable. With our tummy being full from the delicious and generously served food, our eyes were fed as well for the nice ambiance. Will surely visit this place again and will #IndulgeInGiving!

For those at Mandaluyong area, this place is highly recommended!
